Enrollment and Attendance FAQs

GSAOP serves students in grades 7–12, offering a supportive community where your child can thrive from middle school through high school graduation.

Parents are able to enroll multiple children in the program.

GSAOP is a tuition-free public school program, so you won’t pay for classes or materials. We provide certified teachers and instructional materials¹. You’ll just need to supply a few basic household items—like printer ink and paper.

As a public program, GSAOP follows applicable state laws and attendance requirements. GSAOP works with families toward a positive attendance record to meet required instructional days. A parent or Learning Coach logs attendance daily.

The academic calendar includes holidays or vacation time. Whenever possible, family vacations should align with the program’s vacation days. Parents are encouraged to contact their student’s teacher if they plan a vacation that does not coordinate with the academic calendar.
